Game Wardens are law enforcement officers. Whether on a waterway, in the woods, or in an urban environment, they safeguard Georgia's natural resources and protect the public. Game Wardens make arrests for poaching, drug offences, violent crimes, and other criminal acts. They investigate boating fatalities, recover drowning victims, conduct search and rescue operations, respond to civil disturbances and enforce executive orders.
The Fraternal Order of Police Georgia Game Warden Lodge #104 will remain active in the legislative process to promote hiring and retention of the most qualified officers so Georgia remains a safe place to live and work.
